Bozlu Art Project Nişantaşı established within the body of Bozlu Holding that is continually evolving and growing with its dynamic structure in the field of health and technology from 1990 to the present day will meet the audiences health and technology in the field of dynamic structure, "Back Side/ Arka Yüz" exhibition of the one of the leading names of Balkan Naci İslimyeli of our contemporary art. The exhibition that includes approximately 15 works promises to see human faces with an inner view.
In his final works, Balkan Naci İslimyeli performs an autopsy on the faces. These faces, on which the pictorial faces are used as a scalpel pictorial faces, are refigured by being distilled. These pressures and traumas experienced by timeless, genderless and undefined faces are reflected as the signs engraved in the portraits. Multilayered narrative precessing from today to yesterday from the surface to the depth starting from the years of 80s is a common method used by the artist for the separation of human reality. The artist gives products related to the expropriator indicators of inner reality varying and converting through internal and external pressures by deepening over the faces as it is seen in his previous exhibitions titled Pentimentolar, Deli Gömleği, Suret, Psikolaj and Kara Yazı.
Back Side/Arka Yüz is the new and dramatic sample of this multi-layered narrative grown in the surface of limited portrait surface.
